Bahrain-based Eazy Financial Services, known as EazyPay, has embarked on a strategic partnership with talabat, a leading food delivery and quick commerce platform, aimed at bolstering the online payment landscape in the region.
This alliance seeks to enhance the payment processes for talabat’s customers, making credit and debit card transactions more streamlined across the platform’s diverse services, and is anticipated to yield significant advantages for both merchants and individual users.
In a bid to further its commitment to innovative payment solutions, EazyPay has also recently unveiled a Visa Direct account funding solution.
This initiative, which facilitates swift and secure fund transfers both within Bahrain and internationally, highlights EazyPay’s dedication to delivering payment options that are not only quick and secure but also convenient for its users.
The partnership allows talabat users to benefit from EazyPay’s sophisticated online payment gateway, which supports credit and debit card transactions.
This move is aimed at accelerating the evolution of online transactions in Bahrain, providing digital payment solutions tailored to the growing demands of the online payment sector.
A talabat spokesperson emphasized the collaboration’s potential to increase convenience, security, and reliability for its users, in addition to broadening talabat’s checkout options.
This partnership is part of EazyPay’s broader strategy to enhance the payment experience across the region.
Notably, EazyPay has previously joined forces with American Express Middle East, aiming to enrich the payment experience for both consumers and merchants.
This collaboration allows American Express cardholders to use their cards across EazyPay’s extensive network of point-of-sale terminals and online payment gateways, thereby enhancing accessibility and offering more choices to consumers while supporting local businesses.
Moreover, EazyPay’s collaboration with JCB last year aimed to integrate JCB card acceptance among EazyPay’s merchant base in Bahrain.
This agreement was designed to cater to the payment preferences of JCB cardholders, ensuring they could utilize their cards seamlessly across EazyPay’s merchant outlets throughout the Kingdom, thereby contributing to the diversification and growth of the region’s payment ecosystem.
